Javea in August 2024

Digital paintings.

After spending some time working with photography and video, I returned to my roots by creating a series of paintings of Jávea during the heat of summer. The challenge was to complete one painting per day, so I used photography and Procreate to create the drawings throughout August 2024. My inspiration was a mix of 1930s travel posters and the iPad paintings of David Hockney. Here, you can see some of Jávea’s most popular spots.
