Les Rotes RAW 2020-2021

RAW: Unrefined, natural, crude.

By the end of 2020 to the beginning of 2021, I decided to explore the shapes, textures and colours of the natural cove of Les Rotes in Dénia. I took this protected part of Nature as if it were a model posing for me. So I spent four months visiting the place at different times of the day, taking more than 2,000 images and a dozen videos. The result is a very high resolution limited series designed so that the details produce the raw sensations of contact with Nature without human presence.

The series consists of three parts; BLUE, which tries to convey the feeling of a bright day. GOLDEN where the sun imposes its first light, full of color. And ALIVE; that shows the dynamics of the sea in different states, as the living being that it is.
